Tournaments
Tournaments are where your players compete, earn points, and contribute to your rewards. Understanding how and when they happen is key to maximising your returns.
When Do Tournaments Happen?
Tournaments take place twice a week:
Weekend Tournament → typically runs Friday to Monday
Midweek Tournament → typically runs Tuesday to Thursday
At the end of each tournament, results are finalised and rewards are distributed before the next tournament begins automatically.
How to enter a tournament?
To enter, all you need to do is hold active shares of a player. As long as your player is active and eligible, they can compete in the tournament and earn rewards for you.
Squad Selection
Tournament Squad Cap (75 Players)
Each tournament has a 75-player cap. This means only up to 75 of your players can earn rewards in a tournament.
Manage your squad via the Selection tab on the Squad page.
A progress bar shows how many players are currently entered. It turns red if you exceed 75.
All players are active/unbenched by default.
DNP and No Contract players do not count toward your 75-player cap.
After 75 players have entered the pitch, any additional players will not contribute to your rewards.
If a player is sold after entering the pitch, they still count toward your Active Players, but their performance score is removed from your total points for qualification.
Bench System
You can now bench players to exclude them from your active tournament squad.
Manage benches directly from the Selection page by tapping to bench/unbench players.
Benched players do not consume contracts and are excluded from rewards.
Once you confirm your squad selection, it stays locked until you make changes - there’s no need to update every game week unless you want to.
How do you win?
There’s 3 important things when it comes to tournament play.
Your current amount of shares of each player. The more shares you have, the more rewards you get when the player wins.
The total amount of active shares of each player in the tournament. The more widely owned a player is, the more people share the rewards. Therefore, the biggest wins are gained by picking unexpected or unknown players that win!
Player Performance.
The top 5 scoring players in each outfield area of the pitch are rewarded at the end of tournaments. (Forwards, Midfielders, Defenders). The top 3 Goalkeepers are rewarded (but there are fewer of them, so less competition).
