# Use Cases & Roadmap

Governance within the Sport.Fun ecosystem is designed to evolve over time. Initially, the core team retains decision-making authority to ensure coherent execution during early growth phases. As the platform matures, governance functions will transition toward token-based participation.

The platform’s governance roadmap includes a Scouting system that gives $FUN token holders direct influence over which athletes join the player markets. By backing prospective players with $FUN tokens — from emerging talents to established stars not yet on the platform – the community collectively determines platform expansion priorities. Participants who successfully identify high-demand additions benefit from their early support, aligning individual incentives with ecosystem growth while transforming player selection into a community-driven process. This approach decentralizes player curation, rewards participants who identify valuable additions to the ecosystem, and reinforces $FUN’s role as the instrument through which the community shapes the evolution of the player economy.

## Future Ecosystem Expansion

Sport.Fun’s technology stack is designed to accommodate multiple sports without fragmenting liquidity or reputation. Each sport functions as a distinct title, yet all share the same token economy, user database, and buyback engine.

To-date the platform has launched football and NFL, which has brought global football and American football under the same SDF umbrella. In the near term, additional sports such as basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, and Formula 1 are under consideration. Each expansion strengthens the overall ecosystem by introducing new player bases and creating new revenue streams that support the same buyback mechanism.

### Roadmap

Sport.Fun’s rollout follows a phased development schedule designed to maintain steady progress while ensuring technical and economic soundness.

#### Phase 1 – Foundation (Complete)

* Football (soccer) and American Football-based platform live with active trading and player packs
* Implementation of credit-card and fiat gateways
* Marketplace buyback mechanism of player shares deployed

#### Phase 2 – $FUN Launch (In Progress)

* $FUN token integrated across the platform
* Day one $FUN utility for fee rebate mechanism
* Buyback mechanism expands to include $FUN buybacks

#### Phase 3 – Growth & Expansion (Near-term Future)

* Additional $FUN utility for access to advanced data analytics for better decision making
* Give $FUN token holders a voice for promoting the next players to be added to the platform via Player Scouting mechanism

#### Phase 4 – $FUN Domination (Planned Future)

* Launch of global marketing and partnerships
* Introduction of additional sports titles

Each phase builds on the prior one, ensuring that product quality, liquidity, and governance maturity advance together.
