# Tournaments and Rewards

## Tournaments and Rewards

Tournaments are where your squad competes. Finish well, earn Tournament Points (TP), and spend them to strengthen your squad.

### In the app

> Navigation guide coming soon. This section will show you exactly where to find this in the app.

***

### TL;DR

* You enter tournaments automatically by holding eligible active shares
* Players score points based on real match performance
* Top finishers per position earn TP from the prize pool
* The snapshot taken when a player enters the pitch determines eligibility
* Rewards are claimed in-app after the tournament ends

***

### How entry works

You do not manually enter a tournament or submit a lineup. Eligibility is determined by a snapshot. If you hold active shares in a player before they enter the pitch, those shares are eligible for that tournament window.

Shares signed after the snapshot are not eligible for that tournament.

***

### How rewards are earned

Three things determine your reward:

1. **Your eligible active shares in a placing player.** More shares means a larger cut of that player's allocation.
2. **Total eligible active shares across all managers.** More competition means the pool splits further.
3. **Player performance.** Only top finishers per position earn rewards.

Rewards are paid in Tournament Points (TP). TP is used to open Player Packs.

### Claiming rewards

Go to Home, find the Tournament Complete block, and tap Reveal Winners to claim your TP.

### Sport-specific details
