Understanding the Transfers / Trades page
The same core information is available across Football and NFL, although the layout may look slightly different depending on the game you are playing and whether you are using Sport.fun on mobile or desktop.
On desktop, the page is split into three main areas:
- A market overview at the top;
- A player list underneath, with different views for price and performance;
- A fixtures panel alongside the market.
On mobile, the information is condensed into a smaller layout, with some elements currently only available on desktop.
Market overview
At the top of the page you’ll see a snapshot of what is happening across the Sport.fun market.
Market Pulse
Market Pulse shows the overall balance of signing and releasing activity across the market.
It includes:
- The total value currently in the market;
- How much has been signed over the selected period;
- How much has been released;
- How many managers were responsible for that activity.
You can change the time period to see how activity has developed over different windows.
Total Volume
Total Volume shows the amount of trading activity taking place over time.
The chart lets you see when trading activity has increased or fallen and compare volume across different time periods.
Market Pulse tells you the balance between signing and releasing, while Total Volume tells you how much activity is taking place overall.
Browsing players
Below the market overview is the main player list. You can switch between Trends and Next Game views to compare players across different metrics, and use filters to search for specific players or types of players.
Trends view
The Trends view focuses on the player’s market position and your own holding.
For each player, you can see:
- Market - 24h: This shows the player’s current share price and how that price has changed over the last 24 hours. A positive percentage means the price has increased over that period, while a negative percentage means it has fallen.
- Form: A visual summary of the player’s recent performances.
On desktop, you can also see:
- Holdings: If you already own the player, this shows the current value of your position and the number of shares you own.
- Crowd - 24h: How many managers have signed or released the player during the period
- Ownership: A visual indication of how the size of your holding compares with the average holding of other managers who own that player.
Next Game view
Switch to Next Game when you want to compare players based more on their upcoming sporting context than their market activity.
For each player, you can see:
- Next Fixture: The upcoming game in the current tournament.
- Win %: How likely the player’s team is to win their next game. [Football only]
- Salary: The player's Picks salary for the current tournament.
On desktop, you can also see:
- Next 5: A quick view of the difficulty of the player’s next five games. Greener indicators represent more favourable matchups. For Football, this is based on Opta Power Rankings; for NFL, it is based on the opponent’s defensive strength against the player’s position.
Ownership categories
Players are grouped into ownership categories, from most to least owned across the market:
- Favourite - a widely owned player
- Regular - a commonly owned player
- Differential - a less commonly owned player
- Underdog - one of the least owned players
If you would prefer to see all the players as one list, you can set the filter view to Player Group > All.
