Selling players during a live tournament

You can continue trading while a tournament is live, but selling players who have already entered the tournament may affect your rewards and incur a higher fee.

How selling affects Top Performing Player rewards

  • To receive Top Performing Player rewards, you must continue holding the eligible shares until the tournament ends.
  • If you release or swap out of a player before the end of the tournament, your reward-eligible share count will be reduced by the shares sold. If you sell all your eligible shares, you will no longer receive a reward for that player.
  • Buying the shares back during the same tournament will not restore your previous eligibility.

How selling affects Picks rewards

  • The shares contributing to your Picks reward weight are captured when the player enters the pitch in football; or the player’s game starts in NFL.
  • After this point, releasing or swapping out of the player will reduce your Picks reward weight based on the shares sold. Buying the shares back will not restore that weight during the same tournament.

Selling does not remove the player from your Picks lineup or affect the score they contribute. It only affects the value used to calculate your share of the Picks reward pool.

Fees during live fixtures

A higher fee may also apply when you release or swap out of a player while they are playing:

  • Releasing or swapping out carries a 10% fee while the player is participating.
  • The fee begins to fall after the player leaves the field or the game ends.
  • It gradually returns to its normal level over the following hour.
  • Signing or swapping into the player is unaffected.

The trade preview will always show the fee that applies before you confirm.
