# What is Reputation (Rep)?

| Reputation, or Rep, is a score that reflects your participation across Sport.fun. Build Rep by competing in eligible tournaments and through qualifying spending on player shares and contract renewals during $FUN Seasons. The higher your Rep, the lower your standard trading fees.

### How does Rep work?

* Every manager has a Rep score between 0 and 1,000. Your score determines your Rep level.
* New managers begin with 500 Rep, which is the Neutral level.
* As your Rep increases or decreases, your level and its associated benefits update automatically.

### Where can I find my Rep?

* You can find your Rep score, level, progress, current benefits and Rep history in the **Reputation section of your Profile**.
* The sport switcher changes the Football or NFL fee information displayed. It does not switch between separate Rep scores.

### Is Rep shared across Football and NFL?

* Yes. You have one Rep score shared across both sports.
* Eligible activity in either sport can change that score. This means that Rep earned or lost through Football can also affect your standard NFL trading fees, and vice versa.

### How do I earn Rep?

* You can currently earn Rep through eligible participation:
  * **Complete an eligible tournament:** +10 Rep
  * **Complete qualifying FUN Season activity:** +15 Rep when the season ends
* Tournament Rep is based on taking part, not your finishing position. You do not need to win a tournament to earn it.
* Qualifying activity during a FUN Season is based on reaching a threshold for net spending on player shares and/or contract renewals. You do not need to hold $FUN to earn this Rep.

### What can reduce my Rep?

* Ordinary trading at the standard fee does not reduce your Rep, and being inactive doesn't cause your Rep to fall.
* Rep is reduced when a completed release of player shares - or the release side of a swap - is charged a final raised fee of **15% or more**. Larger raised fees can result in larger Rep reductions.
* In exceptional circumstances, your Rep can be adjusted manually to correct errors, address misuse or protect the integrity of the game and its markets.

### How does Rep affect trading fees?

* Your Rep level affects your standard trading fees:
  * **Neutral:** standard fees
  * **Pro or higher:** increasingly larger discounts on standard fees
  * **Below Neutral:** additional fees on standard releases
* Rep discounts apply to standard fees. Player-specific or account-level market protections can still apply, and you will always see the final fee before confirming a trade.
* If more than one fee applies, they are compared rather than added together. You pay only the highest applicable fee.
See [What fees are payable on trades?](https://sportfun.crisp.help/en/article/what-fees-are-payable-on-trades-1yudz8i/) for a full explanation of trading fees.

### Can doing well in tournaments protect my Rep?

* Competing in tournaments increases your Rep.
* Eligible tournament rewards can protect some releases from Manager Surge and Account Market Impact Fees - these are separate to Rep.

### Is my Rep private?

* Your exact Rep score, progress and full history are private to you.
* Managers who reach Pro or higher may display a Rep badge on their profile or the leaderboard. Managers below Pro do not display a public Rep badge.

### Can Sport.fun review or amend my Rep?

* Rep normally updates automatically from recorded activity. However, we reserve the right to review and manually amend a manager’s Rep where reasonably necessary - for example, to correct an error, address manipulation or linked-account abuse, respond to exceptional circumstances, or protect the integrity of the game and its markets.
* Any manual change will appear in your private Rep history as an account adjustment. If you believe your Rep has been changed incorrectly, please contact our Support team.

### Will more Rep benefits be added?

* Trading-fee benefits are the first use of Rep. We expect Rep to play a broader role across Sport.fun over time and may introduce further benefits for managers with strong Rep.
